Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Cenizas Labs Pvt. Ltd.(“KitCat”, “we”, “our”, “us”) governing your use of the KitCat website, web application, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

KitCat is an adaptive learning platform that helps you prepare for the Common Admission Test (CAT). It includes a diagnostic assessment, an AI-generated study plan, practice questions, full-length and sectional mocks, a chat-based Coach, analytics, and a library of study material.

The Service is provided for educational purposes only. KitCat is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) or any other testing or admissions authority. “CAT” refers to the Common Admission Test as conducted by the IIMs and is used here for descriptive purposes only.

3. Your account

To use most of the Service you need to create an account. You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Keep your sign-in credentials confidential and not share them with anyone.
• Notify us immediately at support@kitcat.app if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

One account per person. Accounts are not transferable. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Diagnostic preview

You may take the diagnostic assessment without an account to preview the product. All other features — mocks, practice, Coach, Toolkit, and the adaptive daily plan — require a paid Pro subscription at ₹999/month.

5. Subscription and payments

KitCat Pro is offered as a monthly subscription at ₹999/mo (inclusive of GST), billed and processed by Razorpay. Once you subscribe, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the in-app billing screen, and you will retain Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Prices may change. If we change the price of an existing plan, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and the new price will apply only to renewals after that date.

6. Refunds

Because the Service is digital and granted instantly, all payments are non-refundable. We do not pro-rate or refund partial months. If you do not wish to be billed for the next cycle, cancel before the renewal date — the cancellation will stop all future charges. If you believe you have been charged in error, email support@kitcat.app within 7 days of the charge and we will investigate.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise programmatically extract content from the Service.
• Share, resell, sublicense, or republish any part of the Service or its content, including questions, explanations, Coach responses, and PDFs.
• Share your account, sign-in link, or session with anyone else.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or models behind the Service.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, infringe rights, or do anything illegal.
• Interfere with the Service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or probe for vulnerabilities outside a coordinated responsible-disclosure process.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice depending on severity.

8. Intellectual property

KitCat, the KitCat name and logo, and all questions, explanations, study guides, mocks, analytics, and Coach prompts are the intellectual property of Cenizas Labs Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service and its content solely for your own exam preparation. No other rights are granted.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you send us about the Service may be used by us without restriction or compensation.

9. AI-generated content

The Coach and other generative features rely on large language models. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on it as professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. You are responsible for verifying critical information before acting on it. We do not guarantee any particular CAT percentile, college admission, or career outcome.

10. Disclaimers and warranties

The Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Cenizas Labs Pvt. Ltd., its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cenizas Labs Pvt. Ltd. and its personnel from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service to you becomes commercially or technically infeasible. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (for example, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, governing law) will survive.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change we will email all active users at least 30 days before it takes effect and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept the change, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the effective date.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply to you, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service.
